We started with a single bra in November 2008 and today, thanks to generous donations from the public and retail stores, more than 5,000 bras have been donated, and Support1000 has sent over 3,000 bras around the world to:

schools
churches
organizations that provide attire for job interviews
homeless shelters
residential facilities for recovering addicts
Sioux tribes
a village in Kenya
many other organizations and social services professionals who serve women

In April 2009 we met our goal of collecting and donating 1,000 bras. Support1000 now stands as a commitment to satisfy a need that is much larger than imagined.
